As a professional photographer in Stirling I’ve worked with national newspapers, magazines, top PR agencies and corporate and commercial clients across Scotland and the UK for over 20 years.
I got my first real taste of photography in the dark room of our local newspaper where I worked as a technician. Eager to be let loose with a camera, it wasn’t long before I found myself heading to a cheque presentation at the nearby hospital – a simple job but what a buzz and the start of an incredible career as a press and editorial photographer.
From there I went on to work for Scotland’s largest independent news agency. Great times made better with a promotion to Chief Photographer. My work was regularly published in the nationals – The Sun, The Times, The Scotsman, The Daily Mail and The Independent on Sunday included – and lifestyle magazines such as Real People and That’s Life, not to mention international appearances in The Australian, Bild and Time Magazine.
I’ve been freelance since 2006, working throughout the UK and enjoying the occasional trip to Europe.Nowadays I specialise in commercial and editorial, press and PR, and boudoir (Fine Art Boudoir website). I’m told I’m easy to work with – I put it down to the fact that I love what I do, know what I’m doing and take a fairly relaxed approach.
Other than that, I let my work do the talking – browse through my website and see for yourself.
